In October 2016, a hurricane swept across Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Dune, Jean Georges Vongerichten’s beloved restaurant at the One & Only Ocean Club, suffered significant wind and water damage, which resulted in its temporary closure. The resort called in long-time collaborators Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) to both repair and re-envision the dining destination. JBI’s design team brightened the interior, infusing it with a sophisticated resort ambience while increasing seating for both dining and lounging.
