Gotham Market at The Ashland

Located in Brooklyn’s thriving cultural district, JBI designed this 16,000sf market to highlight each of the eight drinking and dining destinations. An industrial chic material palette of concrete, blackened metal, red brick and white tiles unifies the expansive space. A series of custom designed black steel pipe chandeliers, featuring 180 hand blown glass globes, preside over the Market and enliven the 26-foot-high ceilings.

The Cove is the multiple award-winning luxury hotel component within the larger Atlantis resort. Here, architecture melds with nature in the breezeway, a series of interlocking walkways in and around the hotel that allow guests unlimited access to the sounds, scents, and vistas of the surf and sand. GORDON RAMSAY ANNOUNCES “HELL’S KITCHEN” RESTAURANT AT CAESARS PALACE LAS VEGAS

Celebrated multi-Michelin star chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay announced live his plans for the first-of its-kind Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen located at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, set to open this winter. Masterfully designed by Jeffrey Beers International to be an experiential and immersive destination restaurant, guests will feel transported to the studio set, as if they are participating in the globally popular television show, the 17th season of which will air during the 2017-2018 season on FOX. With design features that are engaging to all senses and are a nod to both the red and blue teams featured on the show, the dynamic and bustling kitchen will be the centerpiece of this unique eatery to be enjoyed and appreciated from every seat in the house. Food + Design: New York’s Food Halls

Jeffrey Beers and his colleague Kristin Franzese of The Plaza spoke about The Plaza Food Hall, in a panel event celebrating the dynamic food halls of New York City. Joined by the team from Gotham West Market, Adam Farmerie of AvroKo and Christopher Jaskiewicz of Gotham Organization, Jeffrey and Kristin shared the evolution of The Plaza Food Hall from concept to completion, speaking about the challenges of designing and operating a contemporary food destination in a landmark 100-year old hotel. db brasserie Opens in Las Vegas

db brasserie recently opened at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas. The 280-seat restaurant, designed by JBI, embodies the convivial atmosphere of classic French brasseries, utilizing authentic brasserie materials and details for a refined and modern aesthetic. “db brasserie has all the elements of a traditional brasserie with the constant energy of a café,” says Chef Boulud. In her introduction, Fabricant quoted Jeffrey Beers, who has said “Opening a food hall is like putting together a dinner party. WestHouse Hotel Opens in New York

​Luxury boutique hotel WestHouse opened this month in midtown Manhattan. Inspired by the hotel’s historic 1927 building and storied Hollywood past, JBI designed WestHouse to evoke the refined yet relaxed ambiance of an upscale residence, with subtle nods to Art Deco. JBI continued the residential aesthetic in guest rooms with hardwood floors and a soft tone-on-tone palette. Opening in Spring 2014, The Terrace (pictured) offers a multifunctional dining and living space that feels like part of a home.
