UrbanGlass Brooklyn

For over 40 years UrbanGlass has been a leader in New York’s creative community, supporting an expanding group of glass artists, educators, students and enthusiasts.  As part of New York City’s more than $100 million investment in the Brooklyn Cultural District, UrbanGlass partnered with the City to completely renovate the organization’s longtime home, 647 Fulton Street in downtown Brooklyn. As a result, not only will UrbanGlass’ 3rd floor studios be fitted with state-of-the-art, energy efficient equipment and systems, the organization will have a street level presence for the first time.

In addition to being a founding member of UrbanGlass, Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) designed a ground floor retail shop and gallery that will give the organization a dynamic public face, enabling UrbanGlass to share its valuable resources and experience with a broader and more diverse audience.
